Scaling down (making an image smaller) rarely causes visible blur. Scaling up (making it larger) can cause blurriness if you go significantly beyond the original resolution. For enlarging with better results, try the Upscale tool which uses a smarter interpolation algorithm.
Can I maintain the aspect ratio when resizing?
Yes. Enable the 'Lock ratio' toggle before entering a new width or height and the other dimension will update automatically to keep proportions intact.
